Make sure the laptop lid is closed, turn it over and remove the battery by moving the switch right to left.
there are three philips screws located on the surface where the writing is. remove those three screws.
turn the laptop right side up. Between the cover and case on the top right of the laptop and using a plastic sludger or a finger lift gently on the speaker cover as to disengage the clips.
Be sure not to pull hard or you may damage the ribbon cables.
From the side closest to the screen turn the cover towards yourself.
there is one connector from the speaker bar to a control board. Gently remove the cable.
There are two more screws attaching the speaker bar to the cover, remove these and take the speaker bar out.
you are now ready to replace or repair the speaker bar. I recomend purchasing a new one, they range anywhere from 5-15 dollars online.
